A Community Solution for WS/FC
More Workforce Housing = Stronger Local Workforce = Stronger Economy for the Whole Community
Twin City Housing Capital (TCHC) is a community-driven funding source designed to unlock essential workforce housing in Forsyth County. The TCHC Fund will help close the financing gap for workforce housing via loans to low-income housing developers from the TCHC Fund. The loans will include deferred repayment and low interest, with affordability covenants similar to the requirements for 30-year tax credits.
This community crisis requires a community response to succeed. TCHC seeks to work with City, County, State, community and business leaders. Some might have the land, some the cash. In most cases, the project will need the community to assist in closing the financing gap.
